I'm really getting old...

Okay, so I'm really starting to come to the point that I must really be getting "old". Within the past week I've been down in the back, pinched nerve making me almost helpless to move around, sick with a touch of the flu, and have a metal rod that was ratcheted into my jawbone for a future crown.

I've really felt miserable (physically) for two solid weeks now. There's not a day or night that has gone by that I haven't been in some sort of pain. Nothing serious mind you, but there were times I really felt miserable. I know God is in control and is getting me back to a healthy state, it's just that I'm impatient and want to feel better "now". Patience Todd, patience.

I like what Paul says in Phillipians....

Phillipians 4:12 - I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

God's Amazing Creation


I'm out here in Colorado at the base of the mountains near Ft. Collins. I've always loved the mountains. To me, the Rocky Mountains are one of the most vivid pictures we have of God's masterful creation. I get tired of hearing how "fragile" the earth is...how we're teetering on the edge of destroying our world via global warming. When I look out at the mountains and see their "majesticness", I can only thank God. "Thanks God, for creating something so beautiful, so powerful, so big, so amazing, it helps us understand, just a little bit, how great You are.
